The Annie Prana Foundation was created in loving memory of Anne De Silva — known affectionately as Annie — a woman whose life radiated compassion and commitment to the wellbeing of others. Annie dedicated her life to uplifting young women and children in Sri Lanka, creating safe spaces for healing, growth, and belonging.

On 4th September 2024, we came together for a heartfelt event to launch the foundation—a meaningful beginning to raise awareness and share our vision with the community.

The Love Bar lit up the night
8th March 2025 women’s day The Love Bar lit up the night with a vibrant 80’s-themed event, where guests danced the night away in retro style. Tickets were sold in support of a heartfelt cause, and thanks to the incredible community spirit, all proceeds were proudly donated to the Annie Prana Foundation.”

Our Mission
Since its founding, the Annie Prana Foundation has become a beacon of hope for vulnerable women and children in Sri Lanka. Inspired by Annie’s unwavering compassion, we’ve worked hand-in-hand with survivors of abuse and trauma to help them reclaim their strength, their dignity, and their future.

- Safe Shelter: We’ve supported transitional homes for young women and children escaping abuse, giving them a secure space to heal and grow.
- Education Sponsorships: From school uniforms to tuition fees, we’ve enabled dozens of girls and young mothers to continue their education without fear or interruption.
- Wellness & Healing Programs: Through workshops, therapy, and creative expression, survivors have found a path to emotional recovery and inner peace.
- Skills Training: We’ve offered practical tools and vocational training that empower women to become self-sufficient and confident in rebuilding their lives.
- Community Outreach: From painted shelters to donated school supplies, our projects foster a sense of belonging and hope, rooted in Annie’s spirit of service.
