A Legacy of Love, Healing, and Empowerment
The Annie Prana Foundation was created in loving memory of Anne De Silva — known affectionately as Annie — a woman whose life radiated compassion and commitment to the wellbeing of others. Annie dedicated her life to uplifting young women and children in Sri Lanka, creating safe spaces for healing, growth, and belonging.
Inspired by her vision and heart, the foundation continues her mission: to support survivors of abuse and trauma, especially young mothers and children, through safe shelter, education sponsorships, emotional healing, and reintegration programs. We provide training, workshops, and wellness initiatives designed to help restore dignity and help each woman reclaim her future.
Annie’s legacy lives on in every life we touch — in every young girl who finds her voice, every mother who regains her strength, and every child who feels safe and seen.
Together, we carry her light forward — gently, powerfully, and with hope.

The Annie Prana Foundation was born out of love, in memory of Anne De Silva — a woman whose gentle strength and boundless compassion inspired all who knew her. “Prana,” meaning life force, perfectly reflects Annie’s spirit: a quiet yet powerful energy dedicated to healing, nurturing, and uplifting those in need.
We are a non-profit foundation based in Sri Lanka, committed to supporting young women and children who have experienced abuse, abandonment, or trauma. Through safe housing, education sponsorships, healing programs, and skills training, we provide the tools and support needed to rebuild lives with dignity and hope.
Our work honors Annie’s legacy by offering what she gave so freely — a listening ear, a helping hand, and a heart full of love. With every child protected and every woman empowered, her light continues to shine.
